Setting up a Samsung SOC panel

So you're ready to setup a Samsung SOC panel, if you're unsure that you're panel is suitable please contact us and we will be able to confirm.

If you need help acquiring a panel we can also put in touch with one of our preferred partners.


Currently the following panels are compatible with their respective versions. (*I Player is supported via a Premium but not recommend by ElevateAV)


To set your panel up to communicate with the ElevateAV MagicInfo Server please follow the below steps. Note that a number of these settings can be done at the screens initial setup; the below guide is from the panels standard menu.


PREMIUM OR LITE CONNECTION

  1. Access the panels menu via the menu button on your remote.

  2. Navigate to the Network tab and via the Open Network Settings connect your panel to the internet

  3. Once connected Navigate back to the Network tab and open Server Network Settings

  4. Set the MagicInfo Mode to the license type you wish to connect with. (Please note that changing this will reset the server address entered in the next option)

  5. Navigate Back to Server Network Settings and access Connect to server, inputting into the server address bar; server1.elevateav.com.au

  6. Make sure to click save and exit out of the menu.

  7. Click HOME on the remote, click on Player and then Network Channel.

  8. Congratulations that is all that is strictly required for connection to the ElevateAV MagicInfo Server, however we highly recommend following the SOC Recommended Settings.

  9. Next step is to contact ElevateAV with the Device Serial Number and your account name and it will be added to your default group.

  10. Once you have received confirmation your panel will be ready to deploy content to.


RMS CONNECTION

The RMS license requires one additional major step so that the server recognises it as an RMS request.

  1. Using the remote, navigate to to any source other than MagicInfo (HDMI)

  2. Click menu on your remote and scroll to System, navigate to Play via and change the selection from MagicInfo to URL Launcher.

  3. You can now follow the above connection instructions making sure to set the MagicInfo Mode to Premium
